About IISA
The International Inline Skating Association (IISA) was founded in 1991 as a non-profit organization to advocate for the sport of inline skating.
Our history

IISA is established as a non-profit to advocate for inline skating as a sport.
1991–2004 — Building the sport
The IISA creates educational programs, promotes safe skating, and increases access to skate spaces across the country.
2004 — Disbanded
The IISA disbands. A skate tour company manages this site for a period afterward.
Today — A new chapter
A group of inline skating enthusiasts brings back a news and magazine about skating — what you’re reading right now.
We look forward to promoting inline skating and keeping the sport growing — not only in participation, but also in technology and methods. Please reach out to us to let us know what you’d like to read about, or share your ideas.
We’re also happy to sponsor stories, as long as they provide value to our readers.
